Ode to Kali Ma of the Feminine Rising on Earth

Into the swamp goes the chaos of emotional pain as old patterns unwind and blow up.

Into the swamp pours the decades devoured by the ferocious beast of dysfunctional relating, dating back generations that spilled out into my beautiful new lifetime and ate it up alive while I watched in horror.

Into the swamp I heave feminine oppression and submission.

Into the swamp goes the apologetic, guilt ridden psychological habit of women, myself included.

Into the swamp I leave an entire lifetime of wasted genius, multiplied across the entire earth as women were swallowed up in the patriarchal sewage that is our recent and current humanity.

I claim this purging for myself, I claim this for all women, I claim this for all children, I claim this for all men…

I release into the swamp this inherited abscess that seemingly knows no end and yet I will end it.

Into the swamp I grieve the beauty that might have been, now tattered in muddy shreds at the bottom of the stench.

Into the swamp I rage the holy hellfire of infinitely endless labor it takes for a single woman to stand the fuck up in the face of this outrageous beating down.

I rage at the machine of pain, the magnitude of the monster, the mother-fucking genius of a contrived concentration camp we live in located on earth.

I rage at the way it outwits us from the inside out.

I am building an army of leaders out of this glorious rage fire, as I count the severed wits of women worldwide and tally up this fucking scorecard.

Into the swamp I rage that this is the final purging.

Right here.

Right now.

With every breath from this moment until I breathe my dying exhale, I stand with sword flashing in the air for every single drop of the Feminine Rising.

SO BE IT.

Independence Day Martina McBride

This song came to mind , upon an update from a deserving

soul , who is liberating themselves today …

In homage to those who have been empowered to remove

themselves from harms way , and those who deserve support

derived from this soul who had to do it the hard way

but today feels nothing but independence from generations

of abuse .. Supported by spirit , by ancestors who did not

fare well in matters of children and marriage , finances

home , and AMA APA …socially …clearing this is amazing .

My intent was for a clearing for my earth family , each

unique son Divine graced me with , as well as myself .

I mourned for what I missed, what I lost , what was abused

and Bless my former self , whose fragments are less tragic

in lieu of the many gifts I have received and many of those

are intangible .

I would have never knowingly married anyone who was

masking trauma, addiction, etc who would harm me

or our children . My deepest , darkest pain has been

transformed , resulting in a purity of love and promise

the life I dreamed of , on my own with Beloved’s

love and respect ..new year , new beginnings ..

Truth is Light that is Love

Solstice: Will Bason

I think of today as new year’s day. January first is just a calendrical convenience with absolutely no astronomical significance. The solstice, on the other hand has been observed by cultures all over the world from the neolithic if not the paleolithic up to the present time.  That is because it is real.  It’s a holyday, not a hollowday.
The solstice is the hinge on the gate to another year; worn smooth and charged from the attention and intentions of a thousand generations. More, actually. Think of all of our ancestors who honored it as still gathered here together around the solar bonfire. Today the ancestors check in Inside of us. Inside of the children. Being alive today means we have response ability.  This is a day to think about it.
Will Bason
The warmth of the Sun returns for us in the north, the needed coolness of night for those in the south. Give thanks and roll with it.  Keep the faith, people. Happy new year everyone.

The winter solstice begins a season of storytelling and ceremony | Smithsonian Voices | National Museum of the American Indian | Smithsonian

In the Northern Hemisphere, the December solstice is the year’s day of least sunlight, when the sun takes its lowest, shortest path across the sky. North of the Arctic Circle, it is the midpoint of the period of darkness, when even twilight doesn’t reach the horizon. We asked a few of our Native friends to share traditions they’ve heard about the winter solstice. Their answers highlight winter as a time for storytelling.
