Experiencing this twice , with Mother who
battled for 5 years , in a death spiral that
her continuation of smoking and diet and mind
set did not enhance ..Siblings who begged her
not to go, “I need you ” as well as fear .
Witnessing the fracture of her children
head on, no more denial but no closure,
no healing of the silences ..just more voids.
Dad thankfully had 6 months to “come out”
as the man I knew him to be , warts and all.
While I was not privy to his medical information
as to how very close he was to his exit , which
was clear to me far longer than was acknowledged
in his mental , physical and spiritual decline
circa 2004 .. He exited in 2012 , so we had
time , and I was liberated from RX Psychiatric
living death , having made it my intention to
be non addictive and better informed . And
Heard ..As the masculine siblings Stockholmed
Dad , lulling him into compliance , honored
and forced to follow the dictates of a doctor
who threatened his very physical freedom
and legacy and money …

which is supported , and ignored , as a human rights
violation , mental and physical abuse . Silenced and ignored
as normal , missing the varied side effects of children
and targeted parent. Shame , Denial and continued
abuse , Intimate Partner Violence damn well
affects children adversely .
