8 Reasons Why We Need Human Touch More Than Ever

Bereft of touch , in relationships has been a constant

in my life; a brother at age 14 months , and a Mom

whose life was suppressed .

Partner was not attuned, as many men utilized touch only

in prelude to sex, scant but that was it. Perhaps a pop on

the rear , more bro than lover 99% of the time.. Aversely

in bro mode beyond the restrain brothers showed in their

rage ..Cutting deeper because of our children, and lacking

morality and character added to not being touched.

I have heard the words of not enjoying touch from several

males, whom usually allow hugs in time..I even had a cheek

kiss..

Massage offered me what I needed as did my acupuncturist ,

but funds have been diverted to healthy foods , so I don’t

have spare monies.

I adore hugs , and am gratified to live in a community that

shares this vital life force.

Children so purely share touch as ours did, and it’s very

keenly noted and grieved when it’s no longer there .

7 years this month since I hugged 2 . 1 who openly

destains any physical contact was the most ardent hugger.

In The Fight For Paid Parental Leave, 6 Months Should Be The Minimum

Totally into this Mom and Dad bonding with child.

In the U.S. where only 14% of civilian workers have access to paid parental leave and 25% of women go back to work within 2 weeks of giving birth, it’s become normal to feel grateful if you have any access to paid leave. But 6, 8, even 12 weeks is not enough for the wellbeing of your employees.

Shefali Tsabary Quotes (Author of The Conscious Parent)

Tape into your inner and outer child , all your children

in all those around you , by honoring their child.

Of course many have been lead astray in their quest

as did I , however this book like none other addressed my

core beliefs , and faced with repeated abuses , denials and

distracted detachment, our partnership never balanced

in raising balanced children, who I know strive for , and the

impact physically and spiritually.

So I speak out and up, and I nurture , I listen , I travel with

you in darkest dark because , I took that journey alone.

I don’t get it 100% , don’t have to be right, nor be the fool.

Once I cleared toxic medications out off my system

relocated and surrendered to the unraveling that would

tenderly heal me , in my mountain home.

And that gave a lot of souls permission , to begin liberation

from past generational karma and trauma and shame

which has no boundaries and is now exposed to heal

And transform each soul on earth .. Love is the way ..

This book is awesome !

59 quotes from Shefali Tsabary: ‘When you parent, it’s crucial you realize you aren’t raising a “mini me,” but a spirit throbbing with its own signature. For this reason, it’s important to separate who you are from who each of your children is. Children aren’t ours to possess or own in any way. When we know this in the depths of our soul, we tailor our raising of them to their needs, rather than molding them to fit our needs.’, ‘It’s no surprise we fail to tune into our children’s essence. How can we listen to them, when so many of us barely listen to ourselves? How can we feel their spirit and hear the beat of their heart if we can’t do this in our own life?’, and ‘to enter into a state of pure connection with your child, you can achieve this by setting aside any sense of superiority.’
