I can relate, I had many health and dental complications , the added effects of RX toxicity, years of triggers and events and memories to download and creating more , pushing myself so hard . I am not a drinker, but I drank . In the society of professionals

there was very little in life that did not offer the opportunity

to drink alcohol. I did not witness the wee hours , in the home

of in laws that related 1st person, exposed the addictions.

There’s no denial, because it’s so normalized, a right of passage

as if drinking solidified your frat or sorority standing .

And wealth/influence .. it was common in detached parenting

homes especially noticeable in the 60s .
