Efforts To Prolong My Husband’s Life Cost Him An Easy Death | HuffPost Life

Experiencing this twice , with Mother who

battled for 5 years , in a death spiral that

her continuation of smoking and diet and mind

set did not enhance ..Siblings who begged her

not to go, “I need you ” as well as fear .

Witnessing the fracture of her children

head on, no more denial but no closure,

no healing of the silences ..just more voids.

Dad thankfully had 6 months to “come out”

as the man I knew him to be , warts and all.

While I was not privy to his medical information

as to how very close he was to his exit , which

was clear to me far longer than was acknowledged

in his mental , physical and spiritual decline

circa 2004 .. He exited in 2012 , so we had

time , and I was liberated from RX Psychiatric

living death , having made it my intention to

be non addictive and better informed . And

Heard ..As the masculine siblings Stockholmed

Dad , lulling him into compliance , honored

and forced to follow the dictates of a doctor

who threatened his very physical freedom

and legacy and money …

Transforming this is one of my next efforts

as I’m quite sure I won’t participate in

the accepted AMA end of life ….

dormant . Retirement , to me only meant transition , still

does, for I have a list of enjoyable , creative loves to delve

into, some personal , some profitable ..

Clearing my path towards my dreams does seem closer

as I include as much grounding, harmony , beauty

and peace of heart , deeply aware of Divine Spirit

having my back …

Dreams and Beliefs , Faith from many thwarted dreams

lay before me, unfolding in dream like mystic and

mysterious ways , to which I surrendered long ago.

What I resisted , kept coming back at me in Karmic

lessons that tested and taught me … I erred many times

and I learned to forgive myself , to give what was withheld

in soul and spiritual as well as physical..

This is what I open up to others , permit yourself to

provide what you need , set the example , give what you

can, Source Divine knows your heart and intent.

It comes down to you , and it does come back to you .
