Medusa
The story of Medusa is a story of the natural response to injustice, and of the vilifying of feminine rage.
Medusa was said to be born exceptionally beautiful, and because of this she caught the eye of Poseidon, who impregnated her in the temple of Athena. When Athena learned of this, it is said that she punished Medusa by turning her into a Gorgon and exiling her.
For ages the story of Medusa has put fear into people, but the true story here is that Medusa was a victim because of her physical beauty, and then she became empowered and as a result was feared.
What if Athena exiled and turned her it into a gorgon not as a punishment, but as an act of grace and empowerment? That never again should Medusa be violated? She gave her space and a powerful means to protect herself. Medusa now had the ability turn to stone anyone who came after her with the intent to harm or violate.
Even after Perseus managed to kill Medusa by her severing her head from her body, her power wasn’t diminished. It’s said that the blood from her head had the ability to both kill and to raise from the dead. A lock of her hair was used to protect an entire city!!
Medusa is a symbol of feminine rage. Patriarchy sees the female body as either something to exploit, to fear or to distain, rather than respect and revere. It certainly doesn’t want push back or empowered rage. So we’ve been spoon fed these ghastly distorted tales, warning women to “know their place”. But reading between the lines we see a while other story.
Righteous Rage alway has a place in society and within each of us.
In yesterday‘s post I spoke of the goddess Durga, with her many arms and her ability to destroy demons and to protect and liberate. What if Medusa is really just a vilified archetype similar to Durga? Imagine stopping violence and lies dead in its tracks just by one’s gaze ? By calling it for what it is?
Read between the lines, we see a whole other story of Medusa than what we’ve been fed. We see the story of righteous rage and feminine justice. And the power it has to destroy, heal and protect.

Being Blunt with the Distortions of a Narcissistic
Years of experience, wasted efforts ,and core needs abused.
6 years in , it was undeniable
With 3 sons 6 and under and
no income or money or place
to go to , I had the awareness
that I would receive little from
him .
To a degree , I did not feel I
would ever trust or love again
and I did not want another
man ” fathering 3 sons ” who
were possessions of our Boss.
Just as he considered me ,
examples had accumulated
beyond denial .
*Coming home from work
and announcing a trip to
Germany with his childhood
friend who had no morals
and I was aware of his willing
participation in whoring
with his Bud . Later he would
share his experience through
his friends name to me .
I knew but had to ignore it
for the sake of our sons .
When I did discuss it with
the wives of his friends it was
” normalized ” ; these ladies
were professionals , mothers,
living well , designer cloths
and always had a cocktail in
front of them .
I did not fit in his world and it
was all he knew and there was
stagnation ,no growth and no
intimacy. Slow and painful
death . The abuses increased
after building our home upon
his acknowledgment that he
had over extended himself
and his obligations were not
allowing his personal needs
wants and desires .
And then there was that ever
present , never ending toxic
bond with his Mom .
Is WAR cost our family dearly
and has largely been ignored
legally ; and I grasp his
winning trumps the needs of
our sons and grandchildren
for I am dead to him , he has
never ” been interested ” .
Sadly all that perceived on
highness , mask a dark ,cold
calculating shadow at War
with light , growth ,forgiveness
letting go , equality balance
accountability, responsibility .
I came into his life in peace
trust , love and divinity , only
to be cut off and disposed of
upon finding his next
companion who relished
the strategic targeting , spell
work , lies etc
Nearly dead , ran for her
life ,forgetting her salvation
and redemption ,still joyful
to denounce me .

End of the Line
This song has been playing in my head all day on Summer Solstice.
In repose , rest and my deep thinking baited, peace remains .
I do not have the impression that any masculine has woke to my grace and place and as a result , accepting the end of the line .
It is with great faith that my miss is my mercy . It indeed is extreme in reference to our sons , but their resistance has been consistent for decades . I do not know them as adults and cannot accept their preference to continue the WAR of their Dad and reject me.
The end of the line lends towards new beginnings which I’m resting up for as Christ Consciousness via photonic white light rains down ; those who are supposed to , receive and surrender in self love and self forgiveness to better love another in peace and harmony !
Hydration and rest , rejuvenate and accept the healing and abundance as cycles officially close ,never to be repeated .
Job well done !!!
Blessings & Peace

Summer Solstice
S U M M E R ~ S O L S T I C E
Tomorrow is the solstice.
In the northern hemisphere, the Sun will reach its apex in the heavens and begin its descent into the ripening beauty of summertime.
As the Sun crosses through its gateway, all the high strung mental agonies of Gemini will be washed away by the dreamy bliss of Cancer season.
The watery realm of Cancer is an oasis, offering you a lingering moment to shut out the world and retreat into daydreams, where life’s pleasures and mysteries can be deeply explored.
Myths have sought to answer these questions throughout the ages.
One example comes from the ancient Greeks, who imagined that human souls were born from the stars, passing from heaven to earth through the Sun’s Gate at the Tropic of Cancer.
One allegory that describes how a soul crossed through the Tropic of Cancer comes from Homer’s Odyssey, in a place he called the Cave of the Nymphs.
The 3rd Century scholar, Porphyry, interpreted Homer’s Cave of the Nymphs as a place between worlds, a passage for the soul’s journey from heaven to earth.
Nymphs were water spirits, evoking a gentle womb-like place where heavenly souls prepared for birth. Souls were described as being like clouds, growing heavy with desire until they condensed enough to be born into matter.
The climax of the Sun’s light at the solstice inspires a high vantage point to reflect upon who you are and where you’re going in life. Whether you imagine your soul’s heavenly origins or not, the solstice is a sacred time of year.
The Cave of the Nymphs offers a portal into your soul’s origins, inviting the gentle waters to nourish and restore you before the world summons you back into its tangle of thorns.
At the solstice it’s important to pause, to return to that inner sanctuary where you can reflect. The year is halfway over. The days aren’t getting any longer. And you’re not getting any younger. This is why a yearning to know the depths of your soul awakens, inspiring a sense of mythic meaning and divine purpose to return.
The Sun in Cancer inspires a longing to know your soul’s history. How did you come to be born in this world? And why does it feel like you’re so far away from home?
