Boomers, Wealth Inequality Creating Greed – Fatal Flaw

It always seemed to me that it was our collective youth—the uniquely large size of our Boomer generation — that sort of compounded our willfulness and exaggerated the power of our otherwise typical youthful rebellion. My dad was the one who pointed that out to me. He said they didn’t feel they had any control over us at all.

And so many of us were very angry about segregation, other unequal civil rights and that BS Viet Nam war. We found common cause for unity, in that.

Since then they’ve taken more trouble to sell us on their wars. Their pageantry! Good Lord that last guy even wanted military tanks and marches parading down our streets! How unAmerican was THAT?!?

But the start of them all boils down to greed. The vast accumulation of wealth and hence resources into too few hands. Wealth that creates, consolidates and perpetuates control rather than money used simply as a means of exchange. As I dodder along toward my seventies — my Eighth Decade of Life (!), I’ve become more and more convinced that this Wealth Inequality Creating Greed is the fatal flaw to our human nature.

It must be prevented. Checks and Balances. The Tone at the Top — one of Accountability, Transparency, Principles, Ethics and Values. Find the way, young folks. Find THAT path.

Antidepressant Withdrawal: A Clinician’s Middle View – Mad In America

The resistance to my ending my association with antidepressants was strong , but I did so . It takes much longer than stated to taper off and feel better for much is is involved , behaviorally and there was for me the trauma, the varied losses of my humanity and rights . My character was assassinated by ex and friends and family who were busy living their lives and trying to escape responsibilities and any association with mental illness .

It was a huge awakening that was quite unpleasant at times, horrific and very scary on my own.

Antidepressants are handed out like Pez candies with little thought to the many adverse reactions physically and trying to regain, rediscover just who you are under all that mind altering , soul snatching chemical straight jacket .Imagine all that as you are confirmed as misdiagnosed and all these RX were toxic to your body .

I present a middle ground on antidepressant withdrawal, where both sides are understood to have origins in wanting to help people.

Watch out for the Narcissist Mother In Law

A very covert narcissist, it was years before she was openly hostile and witnessing the exchange , he did absolutely nothing .

It was so acute, so vulgar that I walked away, preferring to take a walk on the beach.. he followed. I recall saying , that I’d give him a divorce so he could be with his Mother.

He said ” I’ll divorce her , before I divorce you”. He had a lifetime of trauma bonding and confidential conversations with her , and in the end he targeted me for all the feminine energies that had not been kind to him, as I reflected his distortions back to him, the opportunity to have me disposed of arose and he ran with it.

No care for our sons, nor me, it was always about him and that hasn’t changed, it has gotten much worse.

This song popped up this morning and it’s absolutely perfect, given the state of affairs they wish us to believe .

I’ve heard reference to a revolution coming 3 times , and I so hope it’s a matter of evolution and with no blood shed .

” They ” want us to war over things especially each other.

I truest believe we can and we will reveal our power to gain the changes we need in each and every life on this path of liberation of the soul . To love and be loved , to live in balance and harmony with the world and each other .

We are so close and we can handle what is pathetic , and distorted leaders and money mongers .
