There’s others. That’s a lot of why my blog exists, to provide parents and the media with already written pieces that can be linked to when needed.

The media tend to run in packs from one “news story” to the next, wanting to be the first with “breaking news” but not actually investing in investigative journalism, one finds something and then they all rush to it. But some advanced outlets do seek the actual investigation expose side of stories.
Sounds like they might fight something here. Maybe their editor or producer might want to let them look into things over here in child custody evaluation and forensic psychology world.
My goodness, 21,000 parent signing the Petition to the APA? The APA’s silence, and now this disclosure in Vancouver. There might be something here… go look into it.
Child custody evaluations are that string on your sweater. Doesn’t seem like much, just this little end piece sticking out, let me just pull that out of the sweater… uh-oh.
Mental health professionals are not allowed to be ignorant and incompetent, and to hurt people because of it. Not allowed.
Accountability is coming. Professional standards of practice are returning.
