Today is 7/7 and mercury goes into retrograde. 7 is symbolic of the divine paradox and the cosmic joke, being that life makes complete sense from one angle and no sense from another. We have complete chaos at one end of the spectrum, yet underpinning this chaos is complete cosmic order. It is the meditation on, and reconciliation of this contradiction, that can lead us through this labyrinth we call life.
Mercury retrograde is an example of this chaos/order paradox. It creates chaos through communication and technology issues. Yet if you enter this planetary cycle with awareness, you can rise above its effects and see it as a portal for knowing the self. Mercury Retrograde happens 3 to 4 times a year, so if you are going to fall victim to it, you are writing off a significant chunk of your life. DON’T BECOME MERCURY RETROGRADES BITCH.
One of the other meaning behind 7 is cycles of God or work of God. Again it’s the paradox. 7 in numerological terms is insignificant. You take it out of the counting system and the only numbers affected are 7 and 49. Whereas, you take it out of the cosmic order everything collapses.
7 is the number of universal cycles. The holy number. 7 days of the week. 7 continents. 7 seas. The 7 body chakras. The 7 colors of the rainbow. The 7 wonders of the world. The 7 seals and the 7 churches. The 7 ancient sages. 7 planets (excluding Earth) in our solar system. The 7 archangels. 7 days of creation. The walls of Jericho fell on the 7th day after 7 priests with 7 trumpets marched around the city 7 times. The 7 Buddhist factors of enlightenment. The 7 tablets of creation. The 7 layers of Islamic heaven. The 7 gates of hell. The 7 stages of spiritual purification (alchemy). 7 stages of initiation. The 7 cardinal virtues. The 7 deadly sins. The 7 sacraments. The 7 root races, with 7 sub-races. The 7 stars of Orion. 7 is God’s work.
2019 is the second 7-year cycle since 2012. This cycle is about enjoyment, sexual expression, and fluidity. We are also being asked to dive into the subconscious mind (water) for healing.
Today is a portal for setting intentions of what it is you want to manifest. The seeds have already been planted, and it’s a time to choose which flowers you want to spend your time watering. This is a time of plenty, so use it wisely as you CAN manifest your perfect life with smart actions, backed up by clear intentions.
