No Waiting Room

NO WAITING ROOM

What if you didn’t wake up tomorrow and your soul is watching down thinking of all the things you didn’t get to do yet because you were too scared, or too shy, or too worried about money. And all the things you told yourself you weren’t good enough for, swam in front of your eyes, fighting for a place in the line, beside the words you didn’t say and the joy you forget to have.

My friend, there is absolutely no room for anything in your day, other than acceptance. You will never have enough money, or time, and you will certainly never have that perfect body the world told you you need to be happy.

And before you say it’s too late to embrace this thing we call life, no it is not. You can do it right where you are. Right this minute. Get outside, breathe, look at the trees, put your bare feet on the grass – hand on your heart to feel that pulse – and that’s it.

You’re living.

Keep that up.

Wait up for the moon sometimes or get up early to see a sunrise, juts because.

Jump in the lake. Run and skip.

The things you need to feel alive are free and all around my friend.

You just have to see them.

Let in opportunity and say yes to the invitations that scare you a little, in a good way.

Say no to some of the things you force yourself to do, knowing they rinse you of your peace.

Life was never supposed to be a waiting room, it was supposed to be a hillside, with paths leading in every direction and mountains as far as the eye can see, hiding adventures and new friends behind them.

Don’t let yourself get to the end of this ride without having stopped to smell those beautiful roses.

That’s the only thing you need to fear in this life.

Everything else is all part of it.

It’s all just a messy, complicated, beautiful and terrifying part of it.

Chin up, throw your arms wide open and let it be so.

Liberating : Caring what you thing of You; not what others think of you

There comes a day, somewhere in the middle of every woman’s life, when Mother Nature herself stands behind us and wraps her arms around our shoulders, whispering

“It’s time.”

“You have taken enough now. It’s time to stop growing up, stop growing older and start growing wiser and wilder.

There are adventures still waiting on you and this time, you will enjoy them with the vision of wisdom and the companionship of hindsight, and you will really let go.

It’s time to stop the madness of comparison and the ridicule of schedule and conformity and start experiencing the joys that a life, free of containment and guilt, can bring.”

She will shake your shoulders gently and remind you that you’ve done your bit. You’ve given too much, cared too much, you’ve suffered too much.

You’ve bought the book, as it were, and worn the t-shirt.

Worse, you’ve worn the chains and carried the weight of a burden far too heavy for your shoulders.

“It’s time” she will say.

“Let it go, really let it go and feel the freedom of the fresh, clean spaces within you. Fill them with discovery, love and laughter. Fill yourself so full you will no longer fear what is ahead and instead you will greet each day with the excitement of a child.”

She will remind you that if you choose to stop caring what other people think of you and instead care what you think of you, you will experience a new era of your life you never dreamed possible.

‘It’s time’ she will say…

“to write the ending, or new beginning, of your own story.”~

Caretaking of Gaia

“Before I was six years old, my grandparents and my mother had taught me that if all the green things that grow were taken from the earth, there could be no life. If all the four-legged creatures were taken from the earth, there could be no life. If all the winged creatures were taken from the earth, there could be no life. If all our relatives who crawl and swim and live within the earth were taken away, there could be no life. But if all the human beings were taken away, life on earth would flourish. That is how insignificant we are.”

Antidepressants increase morbidity -mortality

I saw the results of long term use on the bodies of others in groups I tried .

They were not helpful to me ; these groups …. folks dedicated to the APA and Big Pharma is going to help them instead of noting the alteration of your life and destruction of all you hold dear because you’re a psychiatric patient .

An article recently published in BJ Psych Open investigates the adverse effects of SSRIs and other antidepressants when taken for longer than five years.

Narinder Bansal, Mohammad Hudda, Rupert A. Payne, Daniel J. Smith, David Kessler, and Nicola Wiles utilized over 200,000 individual medical records collected by UK Biobank between 2006 and 2010.

“Antidepressants are one of the most widely prescribed drugs. Seventy million prescriptions were dispensed in 2018, amounting to nearly a doubling of prescriptions in a decade. This striking rise in prescribing is attributed to long-term treatment rather than an increased incidence of depression, and these trends are not limited to the UK,” the authors write. “However, little is known about the health consequences of long-term antidepressant treatment.”

Lithium 4 Suicide Prevention is not supported

Lithium is a metal , and I’m allergic to metals . This did not discourage the psychiatrist from prescribing it though .

I had to get blood work often because it can adversely affect the kidneys

I couldn’t go in the sun 🌞

When I complained about the adverse side effects the lithium was changed to eskilith a coated lithium .

A new meta-analysis of modern trials of lithium found no evidence that the drug prevents suicide or non-fatal suicidal behaviors. The study included 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing lithium to placebo or usual care for mood disorders encompassing 2578 participants. The researchers found that the difference between lithium and placebo for all suicide-related outcomes was not statistically significant.

The study was led by Joanna Moncrieff at University College London, who recently garnered media attention for a review that debunked the low serotonin (“chemical imbalance”) theory of depression.

Reached for comment via email, Moncrieff said:

“The idea that lithium prevents suicide has added to its mystique and helped propagate the idea that lithium is a highly specific and effective treatment. But it never made any sense. Lithium is a highly toxic, sedative substance. It dulls emotions, which might reduce suicidal thoughts, but we know that many psychiatric drugs have this emotion-dulling effect and yet do not reduce suicidal behavior.”

No Science to Psychiatry

Psychiatry’s Nightmarish 2022 & Its Hysterical Defense Against Criticism, by Bruce Levine, PhD

Psychiatry’s defenders claim to be open to criticism, as long as it doesn’t acknowledge the reality that psychiatry lacks scientific merit.
