When AI makes health decisions
To those Responsible – Charlie McCready
Despite being a victim of false allegations and manipulative alienating tactics, the ‘target’ parent finds themselves entrapped in a system that often fails to adequately assess the truth, allowing baseless accusations to persist. The alienated parent, unjustly kept away from their child, experiences a profound sense of loss, rejection, and helplessness. Their relationship with their child deteriorates as the alienating parent continues to poison the child’s mind against them, and often it worsens during custody cases.
Legal and mental health professionals, who are expected to protect the child’s best interests, often fail to intervene effectively. Even when assessments are conducted, they are sometimes ignored or not acted upon, leaving the alienated parent in a state of perpetual despair and disbelief.
The frustration deepens as the ‘rejected’ parent witnesses the alienating parent’s blatant disregard for court orders and their refusal to cooperate in co-parenting. Despite these clear signs of malicious intent, the legal and mental health system often sticks with the status quo/does next to nothing, sometimes even making things worse.
There is currently no ‘one size fits all’ remedy. But I’d like to share what a parent wrote to me suggesting – something that had worked for him. I paraphrase: “Demand from those in positions of power to put in writing what the allegations are about you. Ask them if your parenting has ever been in question before separation/divorce/allegations. Question them as to whether these allegations are a breach of your right to a private family life.”
This is great because by doing so, you assert your rights but also prompt the professionals to examine the credibility of the allegations thoroughly. If there is no prior evidence or history of concerns, it raises doubts about the authenticity of the claims made during the alienation process. Questioning whether these allegations breach your right to a private family life underscores the fundamental human rights aspect of the situation. This emphasises the need to protect the parent-child relationship and the family’s right to privacy. By raising these questions, the alienated parent not only advocates for their own rights but also challenges the professionals to uphold the principles of fairness, justice, and due diligence in their assessments.

Dangers of Smart Devices
Let’s talk about Big Tech and the dangers of these “smart” devices we’ve welcomed into our homes.
So, the other day, I was sitting in my bedroom, casually using my Fire TV remote to search for a movie. Simple enough, right? But as I spoke into the remote’s mic, guess what? The Amazon Echo Show—you know, the one with a camera, a screen, and a #motion sensor—clear across the house, answered me. That’s right. Not the main Alexa (which has been unplugged 🔌), but this slick little device that’s meant to be “cute” and convenient. Well, convenience be damned—I’m unplugging it too!
And here’s where the story gets even more shady. Amazon.com just #announced they’re going to start keeping and storing all of our voice recordings 😏
But let’s not pretend like this is new. They’ve #always kept those recordings, collecting everything we say, and tracking everything we do. The only difference now is that they’ve finally #admitted it. It’s like the fire department arriving too late to save the building—after everything’s already burned down and the damage is done.
So, what are we really dealing with here?
🔍 Big Tech, especially these “#smart” devices, is evolving into something that goes far beyond just “#helping” us with everyday tasks.
These devices are #constantly listening, watching, and recording every single thing in our homes. It’s not about convenience anymore—it’s about control, surveillance, and domination.
These companies have so much #data on us, it’s #terrifying. They know what we buy, what we watch, where we go, and what we say. You think it stops at the voice command? Hell no.
And now, Amazon, Google (who just settled a $28 million dollar employee discrimination case. They reached an agreement when Google said it would pay all workers who claimed discrimination EXCEPT THE BLACK EMPLOYEES!!!!
Yes! They did that and the judge agreed to it 🤦🏾♀️
All the big tech players are pushing us into a reality where #privacy is no longer an option. The more we invite these “smart” gadgets into our lives, the more we’re sacrificing our basic human right to privacy.
The worst part? We’re letting them in #willingly, thinking it’s harmless, when they’re quietly turning us all into the product.
It’s time to #wakeup. These devices are collecting far more than we realize—and it’s all being stored for the benefit of big corporations that see us as nothing more than data points. The longer we stay plugged in, the more control we give away.
So, what’s the move? Is it time to #unplug for good? Or are we going to keep letting these tech giants have their way?
