I have gone through a range of emotions , after discovering this .

I asked questions, and saw the results with our eldest son, who did experience pain, after being told by pediatrician, that he would not feel a thing .

THE SCIENCE IS IN: The data indicated that circumcision affected most intensely the portions of the victim’s brain associated with reasoning, perception and emotions. Follow up tests on the infant one day, one week and one month after the surgery indicated that the child’s brain never returned to its baseline configuration. In other words, the evidence generated by this research indicated that the brain of the circumcised infant was permanently changed by the surgery.

These are so good, and I wish I’d been informed that Dad was suffering with this . It didn’t become a diagnosis until he had an accident then it was clearer to all I had tried to assist in his wellbeing.

He’d had dangerous falls, and I noted the bruising, but he wasn’t sharing . He forgot my birthday , but marked his calendar with Dr appointments . He did not want to loose his independence , but was driving and having minor accidents , blaming the other car driver .

His pots and pans had to be replaced , he was leaving things on the stove too long . He did not want assisted living , and had a very legitimate fear of nursing homes .

His sons talked him into the nursing home Thanksgiving 2011, after planning to spend the holiday at home with his local kids .

His life turned into a real shit show , as his sons took over his care, not wanting to spend his money on his best care , and neglecting him in that nursing home , then taking him in and neglecting him there as well, while plotting to have him change his will, in a way he never would have consented to in his balanced state of mind .

He certainly deserved better, and I have nothing but respect for his efforts to have dignity and peace which were forfeited in the need for control and greed , for which there is always payback..

I know he’s with me still in spirit , and he will settle things out as he wanted them to be .

The in and out of Dementia is scary , he had anger , he was docile , he laughed and was more open in our communication that ever .

Asking me what I would do without him here , told him he was in my heart and in my head always , he was just leaving his body.

I noted the refrigerator had less food in it , and his consumption of water declined .

Staying with him, I began to get his house in order and discovered he woke early , did a breathing treatment and took his morning meds and returned to sleep.

When he woke , he repeated the same medications. One if not more of these medications was in different doses and he took both .

He replaced his roof, and heat pump , in preparing which he wasn’t conscious of , for his exit .

Under brothers ” management ” the house was uninsured , and a ” break in ” occurred and copper pipes and heat pump etc were stolen.

I was informed I would have to pay for replacements … I was not amused and did not pay .

I informed them of probating Dad’s will , sending legitimate info and that was done between the brothers .

Cheating me out of monies and properties , suggesting fairness to the youngest child , and never giving her a dime, they paid the travel expenses for Dad’s funeral.

His house was ravaged of items before I was allowed in, after his death , his safety deposit box was opened , cash in his house disappeared, and I was threatened with physical harm if I dared dispute brothers .

His death announcement was incorrect and I was threatened with being bared from his funeral .

So yes, spiritually I know he still has my back , he saw clearly the agenda of his sons , and he will avenge the abuses and the abusers .
