The full moon will be tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 15:53 UT, which is 10:53 a.m. EST , which is 7:53 PST. The full moon is the most powerful time of the lunar cycle for meditation and prayer. On this full moon the Sun is at 0° Pisces and the Sun at 0° Virgo. Zero degree points are considered particularly powerful, and indicative of beginnings.

This will be the brightest moon of the year, and this is because it happens to be a the the closest point of its slightly eccentric orbit around the Earth.

From around the world, the moon will look plenty full to the eye on both February 18 and February 19 as it parades across the nighttime sky.
