Unreasonable People

One of the most important lessons we can learn in life is that we cannot reason with unreasonable people.

Peacefully walk away from anyone who will not listen to another point of view, or another’s experience, or who is fed fact-free information from biased sources.

It is unreasonable of us to think we can reason with them.

2 Faces

She has two faces.

One face that she shows the world, loved ones, and in public.

The smiling one.

The happy, friendly, and talkative one.

The confident one full of laughter and positivity.

The face that everyone is used to.

The second face is the real face.

The one she tries not to show anyone.

The face behind closed doors, when she’s alone away from the world, in the security of her own emotions that she doesn’t want to show anyone else or have to explain them.

It’s exhausting trying to look happy and like nothing is bothering you.

The face that stares off at nothing or patterns on the floor or drapes.

The face that cries in the shower, in bed, car rides alone, cries sitting on the couch, or doing things around for house.

The sad face that stares back at her in the mirror and looks nothing like she used to be.

Well to her anyway. Others say she looks the same. The face that looks strong to the people she knows, but is really just shards of broken glass inside.

Yes, the girl that was there for everyone, and strong for others..is now split into two.

Two faces, one broken spirit.

She can’t bear the losses.

It feels like a chapter of a wonderful book closed never to be open again.

All she has are memories and visions in her head that she plays over and over.

Nothing is the same to her.

Everything is different. She can’t cope with daily life, her Doctor said. So she writes to help herself, and she has her two faces.

What’s funny is, the sad face is the face worth a thousand words underneath in the depths of complexity.

While the happy face full of laughter, love, positiveness, and fun..is a straight shooter.”

Lies

“A man who lies to himself, and believes his own lies becomes unable to recognize truth, either in himself or in anyone else, and he ends up losing respect for himself and for others. When he has no respect for anyone, he can no longer love, and, in order to divert himself, having no love in him, he yields to his impulses, indulges in the lowest forms of pleasure, and behaves in the end like an animal. And it all comes from lying – lying to others and to yourself.”

Narcissist persecutory delusions – Charlie McCarthy

When a parent with a dark, narcissistic personality falls into persecutory delusions, they try to rewrite reality. Their fear of being seen as unworthy drives them to alienate the child from you. They lie, manipulate, and seek control—not out of love, but out of deep-seated insecurity and fear that your child might see you as the better parent.

But remember, love is stronger than lies. One day, your child will begin to see through the false narratives. When that time comes, they will need a safe, loving space to turn to—a parent who is calm, mentally strong, and emotionally healthy. Be that parent. Show them that true love is unwavering and unconditional.

Stay resilient. Stay grounded. Continue to be the parent your child can rely on, even when it’s difficult. Do this for yourself, and most importantly, do this for your child.

Being faithful

Being faithful in a relationship isn’t just about staying out of

someone else’s bed.

It’s way deeper than that.

It’s the texts you don’t send, the flirty conversations you don’t entertain, and the decisions you make when no one’s watching.

Being faithful isn’t just about avoiding the act of cheating. It’s about consciously removing yourself from any situation that could potentially blur the lines.

-It’s about not seeking validation or attention from anyone outside the relationship.

-It’s about not having anything on your phone that you wouldn’t want your partner to see.

Being truly faithful is not just about physical monogamy. It’s about

emotional integrity.

Love ❤️

The first time I met Love

My heart was broken

and I asked

“How could you have betrayed me?”

And Love replied

“It was your expectations. I am incapable of betrayal.”

The second time I met Love

My spirit felt crushed

and I asked

“How could you have hurt me?”

And Love replied

“It was your reaction to the situation.

I am incapable of causing pain.”

The third time I met Love

My energy was drained

and I asked

“How could you have depleted me?”

And Love replied

“It was your lack of self-love and failure to set appropriate boundaries.

I am incapable of depleting you.”

The fourth time I met Love

My entire being felt alone

and I asked

“How could you have abandoned me?”

And Love replied

“I am always with you and can never leave you

As I dwell within you.”

The fifth time I met Love

My soul felt vulnerable, naked and exposed

and I asked

“How could you have embarrassed me?”

And Love replied

“It was your ego that caused you to feel embarrassed.

I am incapable of experiencing or causing shame.”

The sixth time I met Love

Anger rippled through me

and I asked

“How could you have taken from me?”

And Love replied

“I cannot take from you.

I give while asking for nothing in return

As I am unconditional.”

The seventh time I met Love

A deep sense of sadness pervaded me

and I asked

“How could you have fooled me and then used me?”

And Love replied rather gently and compassionately

“Do not mistake someone’s inability to love you

For the truth of who I am.”

And the eighth and final time I met Love

I greeted it as an old friend

Free from expectations, heartbreak, pain, shame and conditions

And Love embraced me and said

“Now you truly know me.”~

Wolves – Dr. Clarissa Pinkola

It is interesting to note that among wolves, no matter how sick, no matter how cornered, no matter how alone, afraid, or weakened, the wolf will continue. She will lope even with a broken leg. She will go near others seeking the protection of the pack. She will strenuously outwait, outwit, outrun and outlast whatever is bedevilling her. She will put her all into taking breath after breath.

She will drag herself, if necessary, from place to place till she finds a good place, a healing place a place for thriving.

The hallmark of the wild nature is that it goes on.

So, if women must, they will paint blue sky on jail walls. If the skeins are burnt they will spin more. If the harvest is destroyed they will sow more immediately. Women will draw doors where there are none and open them and pass through into new ways and new lives.

Because the wild nature persists and prevails, women persist and prevail.
