You’re worth the effort

This is a reminder to let you know that you are not here just to do stuff, just to perform duties and complete tasks.

You are here also to feel happy, and content, and inspired and well within yourself.

You are here to have some fun, create meaningful moments and find the sparkle in your eyes again.

You are here to unravel the magic of being alive, the magic of being you. To heal, to feel whole again.

Do something today that lights you up. That activates your joy. That brings about a genuine smile from your heart.

You are worth the effort.

Black New Moon Explained

What Is A “Black” New Moon?

Not an official astronomical term, a black moon refers to the second new moon in a single calendar month, or the fourth in one astronomical season. It’s essentially the dark side of a blue moon. But because the new moon is defined as the exact moment the sun, moon and earth are aligned, it can sometimes occur on different days for people in different time zones. According to Time and Date, the next new moon will take place Nov. 30 for the far western time zones (including Mountain Time, Pacific Time, and the time zones for Alaska and Hawaii), while the rest of the world will see it on Dec. 1.

As the second new moon in the month of November, it will be considered a black moon for the West. For the rest of the world, it will be the first of two new moons in December. The second of those, on Dec. 30, will be considered the black moon.

Physical Appearance:

The New Moon appears as a completely dark disk in the sky, with no visible illumination from the sun.

Of course, a black moon is not exactly something to see – all new moons, by definition, are invisible. For stargazers, this year’s black moon means an extra opportunity for dark skies in the month of November, which could be a great time to look for meteor showers.

For those with lunar-oriented spiritual practices, including many modern Pagans, naturalist, wiccans, which is, spiritualist, and those who practice spiritual freedom, the black moon can be a powerful opportunity for manifestation and cleansingrituals. Like blue moons, black moons are not exactly rare. A monthly black moon occurs roughly every 29 months, while a seasonal black moon happens about every 33 months, according to Time and Date.

What does the black new moon mean spiritually?

In some aspects of paganism, particularly amongst Wiccans, the black moon is considered to be a special time when any rituals, spells, or other workings are considered to be more powerful and effective. Others believe rituals or workings should not be conducted at these times because of the great metaphysical and spiritual powers associated with this Moon phase. However so, if you are inspired to take advantage of this power, this lunar phase is an excellent time to plant metaphorical seeds, set goals for the future, and align with your deepest desires and dreams. The veil between your deepest desires and your physical reality is extremely thin making any prayers, spells, incantations, and affirmations that much more powerful and accessible to those spiritual entities who listen, intercede, and provide you with favor.

During the period of time in which this new black moon is present in your region, the universe is giving you a special opportunity to manifest the life you’ve been dreaming of. It would be very beneficial performing a meditative affirmation ritual. Find a clean and quiet spot, perhaps near a window where you have direct access to the moon’s energy. Light candles, burn incense, and surround yourself with amplifying crystals and gemstones. Sit or lay in a comfortable position and recite these affirmations…

•I release all that holds me back.

•I am aligned with limitless possibilities.

•I welcome healthy and prosperous New beginnings with open arms.

•I am open to receiving new and nurturing love.

•I am no longer hindered or blocked from achieving my goal..

•I am free from all bondage, oppression, stagnation, depression, and enslavement.

•I speak prosperity and wealth in abundance into my life.

•I am disciplined, successful, and stronger than all my doubts and fears.

•All things good, loving, beautiful, and beneficial will come to me.

•My mind and body is renewed, healed and free of all sicknesses, illnesses, conditions, and diseases.

•I accept the new, fruitful, powerful, and healthy life I desire and deserve.

Even the Stars Look Lonesome

Into a world which needed you

My wish for you

Is that you continue

Continue

To be who and how you are

To astonish a mean world

With your acts of kindness

Continue

To allow humor to lighten the burden

of your tender heart

Continue

In a society dark with cruelty

To let the people hear the grandeur

Of God in the peals of your laughter

Continue

To let your eloquence

Elevate the people to heights

They had only imagined

Continue

To remind the people that

Each is as good as the other

And that no one is beneath

Nor above you

Continue

To remember your own young years

And look with favor upon the lost

And the least and the lonely

Continue

To put the mantel of your protection

Around the bodies of

The young and defenseless

Continue

To take the hand of the despised

And diseased and walk proudly with them

In the high street

Some might see you and

Be encouraged to do likewise

Continue

To plant a public kiss of concern

On the cheek of the sick

And the aged and infirm

And count that as a

Natural action to be expected

Continue

To let gratitude be the pillow

Upon which you kneel to

Say your nightly prayer

And let faith be the bridge

You build to overcome evil

And welcome good

Continue

To ignore no vision

Which comes to enlarge your range

And increase your spirit

Continue

To dare to love deeply

And risk everything

For the good thing

Continue

To float

Happily in the sea of infinite substance

Which set aside riches for you

Before you had a name

Continue

And by doing so

You and your work

Will be able to continue

Eternally

Companion

Ernest Hemingway once said: In our darkest moments, we don’t need solutions or advice. What we yearn for is simply human connection—a quiet presence, a gentle touch. These small gestures are the anchors that hold us steady when life feels like too much.

Please don’t try to fix me. Don’t take on my pain or push away my shadows. Just sit beside me as I work through my own inner storms. Be the steady hand I can reach for as I find my way.

My pain is mine to carry, my battles mine to face. But your presence reminds me I’m not alone in this vast, sometimes frightening world. It’s a quiet reminder that I am worthy of love, even when I feel broken.

So, in those dark hours when I lose my way, will you just be here? Not as a rescuer, but as a companion. Hold my hand until the dawn arrives, helping me remember my strength.

Your silent support is the most precious gift you can give. It’s a love that helps me remember who I am, even when I forget.~

Heaven & Hell Exist Right Now – MariAnne Williamson

Collective Expansion 👨‍🦳👩🏻‍🦳

I see more and more men doing “the work”, going into their shadows, looking actively and compassionately at their trauma.

They are coming to terms with their suppressed emotions, without losing their masculine edge, their leadership, the connection to their King energy.

They’re stepping up, leaning in, diving deep, and surfacing with new-found energy and embodied power.

It’s glorious to witness.

I also see more and more women applauding that, being (their) man’s biggest cheerleaders, and expressing how grateful they are about him finally catching up.

I see their posts, their beautiful appraisals, their happiness and sighs of relief that they finally can lean back into their feminine.

So far so good.

Make no mistake, though, that “doing the work” and healing often goes in waves and takes turns.

Not always, though. But often.

Women challenged men to grow because of all the work they did. And men chose to take this challenge and are catching up.

And now, as men rise from their dark night or even dark years of the soul, their new brightness will shine a light on the shadows that women have avoided, denied, bypassed, deflected and ran from and this will be the next level of growth, if they choose to take the challenge and catch up.

Women call for men to grow, and then men demand from women to grow again…

It’s the process of co-creation, the universal law of cyclic evolution.

The ultimate expression of teamwork.

We only have to honor each other’s cycles and paces, be patient, and trust in each other’s abilities.

That’s how we expand, individually and as a collective.
