Absolutely true . One year he gave me a very nice watch ; my best friend had been gifted one … he followed that pattern.

Blue suitcase set , portable dishwasher , I really don’t recall unique of thoughtful gifts . I anticipated grandchildren and asked for a rocking chair ; received a glider/rocker. .

Sadly he was too occupied in his own world to green anything personally going on in mine .

Marriage – A sacred bond 💯

As a man, protecting your wife from your parents and siblings is essential, but in the context of your marriage, your wife must come first. It is your primary responsibility to shield her from toxic individuals, even if they happen to be your family members.

It’s painful for the alienated child when they realise they’d put their trust in a parent who didn’t entirely have their best interests in mind, they were mostly thinking of themselves. They were being childish, vengeful and selfish when as a parent they’d have been expected, and trusted to be emotionally mature, mentally balanced, nurturing, and unconditionally loving.

Coming to terms with being manipulated, lied to, and deprived of a relationship with a loving parent can be a challenging process for an alienated child. It often involves recognising and acknowledging what really happened, which can evoke feelings of anger, sadness, and betrayal. Healing and reconciliation requires support from people who understand parental alienation. They can gradually gain insight into the dynamics at play and develop a healthier perspective on the situation. It is essential for the child to separate their own identity and emotions from the alienating parent’s influence, allowing them to reclaim their autonomy and make informed decisions about their relationships. Ultimately, the healing process involves finding ways to rebuild trust, establish boundaries, and create a fulfilling life that includes a sense of love and connection with both parents, regardless of the alienating parent’s actions.

A significant amount of programming of false beliefs and fictions need to be untangled so they can move on with their life as a sovereign, happy, healthy-minded individual who is free to love who they choose, not only who their alienating parent allows them to love.

Alienated children need to be immensely brave and strong to break free, but they can and do. Some cut ties with the alienating parent; some find a way to have both parents in their lives, which was always the best

When they come back

Sometimes when people come back saying that they miss you, they’re confessing that they’ve discovered that no one can love them the way you did.

They once took you for granted and treated your love like a common thing. Then they tried replacing you, and they were shocked at how impossible it was.

Now they’re crawling back, hoping you’re still stuck where they left you and you’re desperate enough to allow them back.

Whenever people return, always remember how they left.

The way someone treats you when they no longer need you is a true reflection of how much they respect you.

When you feel like you miss that connection, just remember the disrespect.

You may not have moved on to another person, but you have moved onto something more important. That’s self-respect!!

Just because you’re not with someone doesn’t mean you’re still vacant.

You’re a complete person by yourself, and you have the right to take your time to heal and regroup.

If someone else has been flipping one relationship after another, it just shows how uncomfortable they are by themselves.

If they need so much support just to face existence, they have a deeper problem.

Never become the plug-in when someone has failed at replacing you.

They will never value you, and their resentment towards you will multiply because, in a sense, you’ll have beaten them.

They will continue looking while still with you. You’re basically a placeholder. Eventually, they’ll leave you for people who don’t challenge them to change or grow.

In short, it’s also self care when you shut your doors to inconsistent people. You may have a history with them, but when they prove themselves unworthy of where you’re going, it’s a wrap.

At the time of X’s departure I was not myself and unable to respond correctly ; incorrectly assuming since I had legal representation, I was being cared for .
