Old Souls
This is how I always know an ancient soul.
One who has been through the depths of hell and back.
Been drug down into the abyss, and shattered.
You can see they are tired. And yet still are trying. Still put forth the energy to smile. Give a kind word, or gesture.
Even despite the scars which have kept them barely sutured together.
These are simultaneously the toughest, and most beautiful souls in all of creation. Depth far greater than any ocean.
The ones whom through all violence and strife accumulated, still operate from their loving soul. Offering that which they rarely received.
The ultimate transmutators.
Frequency shifters.
YOU, kind soul…Are the true definition of an Angelic Being here on Earth.

Joan of Arc
Joan of Arc represents the power that we all possess when we’re aligned with our calling. She is a legendary heroine in France for her role in the Hundred Years’ War. She was born in 1412 in Domremy, France. And at the age of thirteen, she had a vision that would change the course of her life.
She relates years later in transcripts from her trial after being captured by the English, that she would have preferred to stay in her hometown spinning wool. But, the power of her vision and her belief in the truth of it compelled her to follow the voice she heard within her. The vision was of the Archangel Michael accompanied by many angels. She said, “I saw them with my bodily eyes, as well as I am seeing you; and when they left, I wept.” The Archangel Michael told her that she was meant to drive out the English from France.
Dressed in men’s armor, Joan of Arc led several campaigns against the English and became a symbol of hope. The power of her conviction that she was acting on God’s behalf shifted the tenor of the war in France’s favor. She was captured in May of 1430 and taken to Rouen, which was then under English rule. A heresy trial led by Bisho Cauchon charged her with the repeat offense of cross-dressing. She was condemned and sentenced to death in May of 1431.
.
When your soul selects her card:
During Joan of Arc’s heresy trial, her interrogators asked her if she was in a state of grace. She answered, “If I am not, may God put me there; and if I am, may God so keep me.” Her unfaltering faith in the truth of her own visions made the impossible, possible. As a teenager, she led an army that changed the course of history for France. And
because of the trials, we have sworn testimony detailing the courage of her convictions and her own testimony about her visions of the Archangel Michael who inspired the course of her actions. “Act, and God will act,” she said. The faith she had in her vision allowed her to take on a task that had never been done before by a young woman. Her every action chanted, “I am not afraid; I was born to do this.”
She is associated with the Fleur-de-lis known as the flower of light. It represents the trinity, and the profound truth that the trinity would not exist without Mary, and her brave response to the angel Gabriel’s call. Joan, like Mary, knows she is directly connected to the divine, from within her, and she allows that connection to guide her.
Joan of Arc’s life is a testament to what is possible for us when we believe steadfastly in our own vision. She asks for us to move beyond our fear, to act on our truth, and to do this with the confidence of knowing that our every step is flanked with angels. “

Aging Women
women’s work to bring the ultimate art forward:
Living in the soul, rather than living in the overculture. To enter the soul, be it, teach it with as much wit, meaning, grace and grit—and cackles—as possible.
One of the best things about gathering years is the right to cackle with impugnity” “As a woman gathers more years, she becomes more bold, which is not the same as brave: Brave is jumping in. Bold is jumping in led by angels. In age, we learn to know the difference. For certain, ‘older is bolder.
In old tales, there are plenty of bitter old creatures railing about shrieking me me me. One of the masteries of age, is to divest of bitterness which acts as a dam to the inspiratus and to one’s sense of calm in ‘being enough.’ Bitterness is self-imposed ‘prison of unhappiness’ where the feelings of isolation and rage seem to enliven us, but in fact, only deaden us to love and creative force.

Ancestors
The first thing to remember is that your ancestors are you, they exist within your DNA… Be aware of your thoughts, pay attention to your intuition, emotions, dreams, observe the animals/insects that appear in your life. Look at the signs, symbolisms and synchronicities that occur day to day. This is where the messages and guidance from your ancestors are found.
Our article titled ‘Communicating with your ancestors’ expands on this process. Have a read 💜

The Spider & the People
The Spider and the People
An Osage Legend
One day, the chief of the Isolated Earth people was hunting in the forest. He was also hunting for a symbol to give life to his people. He came upon the tracks of a huge deer. The chief became very excited.
“Grandfather Deer,” he said, “surely you will show yourself to me.”You are going to become the symbol of my people.”
He began to follow the tracks. His eyes were on nothing else as he followed those tracks, and he ran faster and faster through the forest. Suddenly, he ran right into a huge spider’s web that had been strung between the trees, across the trail. When he got up, he was very angry. He struck at the spider who was sitting at the edge of the web. But the spider jumped out of reach. Then the spider spoke to the man.
“Grandson,” the spider said, “why do you run through the woods looking at nothing but the ground?”
The chief felt foolish, but he had to answer the spider. “I was following the tracks of a great deer,” the chief said. “I am seeking a symbol of strength for my people.”
“I can be such a symbol,” said the spider.
“How can you be a symbol of strength?” said the chief. “You are small and weak, and I didn’t even see you as I followed the great Deer.”
“Grandson,” said the spider, “look upon me. I am patient. I watch and I wait. Then all things come to me. If your people learn this, they will be strong indeed.”
The chief saw that this was so. Thus the Spider became one of the symbols of the people.

“ What compromises the Wild Woman? From the viewpoint of archetypal psychology as well as in ancient traditions, she is the female soul. Yet she is more; she is the source of the feminine. She is all that is of instinct, of the worlds both seen and hidden—she is the basis. We each receive from her a glowing cell which contains all the instincts and knowings needed for our lives. “…She is the Life/Death/Life force, she is the incubator. She is intuition, she is far-seer, she is deep listener, she is loyal heart. She encourages humans to remain multilingual; fluent in the languages of dreams, passion, and poetry. She whispers from night dreams, she leaves behind on the terrain of a woman’s soul a coarse hair and muddy footprints. These fill women with longing to find her, free her, and love her.”
