The Invitation

I read this and have to share with everyone- it’s just so good.

“I don’t care how spiritual you are. How long you can melt in the sweat lodge. How many peyote or ayahuasca journeys that have blown your mind, how many master plant dietas you’ve done, or how well you can hold crow pose. I don’t care what planets fall in what houses on your birth chart, or how “silent” your meditation is. I don’t care how many crystals you have or how long you’ve gone without sugar, salt, spices, or sex, or how vegan your diet is.

I want to know how human you are. Can you sit at the feet of the dying despite the discomfort? Can you be with your grief, or mine, without trying to advise, fix or maintain it? I want to know that you can show up at the table no matter how shiny, chakra-aligned, or complete you are- or not. Can you hold loving space for your beloveds in the depths of your own healing without trying to be big?

It doesn’t flatter me how many online healing trainings you have, that you live in the desert, forest, or in a log cabin, or that you’ve mastered the art of tantra.

What turns me on is busy hands. Planting roots. That despite how tired you are, you make that phone call, you board that plane, you love your children, you feed your family.

I have no interest in how well you can ascend to 5D, astral travel, or have out-of-body sex. I want to see how beautifully you integrate into ordinary reality with your unique magic, how you find beauty and gratitude in what’s surrounding you, and how present you can be in your relationships. How do you hold the ones you love in the midst of conflict? How do you take responsibility for your part? How do you make amends?

I want to know that you can show up and do the hard and holy things on this gorgeously messy Earth. I want to see that you can be sincere, grounded, and compassionate as equally as you are empowered, fiery, and magnetic. I want to know that even during your achievements, you can step back and be humble enough to still be a student.

What’s beautiful and sexy and authentic is how well you can continue to celebrate others no matter how advanced you’ve become. What’s truly flattering is how much you can give despite how full you’ve made yourself. What’s honestly valuable is how f***ing better of a human you can be, in a world that is high off of spiritual materialism and jumping the next scapegoat for “freedom.”

At the end of the day, I don’t care how brave you are. How productive, how popular, how enlightened you are. At the end of the day, I want to know that you were kind. That you were real. I want to know that you can step down from the pedestal from time to time to kiss the earth and let your hair get dirty and your feet get muddy, and join the dance with us all.”

When a Child Rejects a Parent: Practice and Theory with Alienated Children

Craig Childress PhD should be involved *

The aetiology of a child’s rejection of a parent is determined by the child’s presentation, meaning that the root cause of a child’s rejection, is displayed as markers in the child’s behaviours. A child who is rejecting a parent because of something that a parent has done to them, will do so in an ambivalent […]

Creation

Creation said,
“I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it.
It is the realization that they create their own reality.”
The eagle said,
“Give it to me. I will take it to the moon.”
Creation said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”
The salmon said,
“I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.”
Creation said, “No. They will go there, too.”
The buffalo said, “I will bury it on the Great Plains.”
Creation said, “They will cut into the skin of Earth and find it even there.”
Grandmother Mole, who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, who has no physical eyes but Sees, said
“Put it inside of them.”
And Creation said, “It is done.”

Uranus Direct

Uranus Direct ~ January 18th

Awakening from its sleepy slumber in retrograde the planet of innovation, revolution and freedom stations direct today under the gaze of a Full Moon Release.

Since August you’ve been focusing inwards on your own spiritual revolution the reflections have been liberating, at times shocking, and designed to disrupt to bring about progressive expansion and release to support your healing and growth.
It’s forced you to think differently about yourself and your life. Sudden bolts of knowing and awakened thoughts towards what you need to do and an activist mind emerging towards how to do it.

As Uranus now returns to its forward motion it can feel energetically a little uncomfortable as you find the new rhythm and reorient yourself towards implementing the changes you’ve been reviewing for your own personal freedom.

You will now seek to use the next few months to radically shake things up in your pathway to honour what you’ve gained in awareness.
As Uranus continues to moves through Taurus there are strong links to the way you value resources, your own and the earths.

Time, love and money may have taken on a very different energy currency and you’ve witnessed a revolution in what you hold sacred and how you take care of it. This is further amplified with Taurus ruler Venus still in rebirth mode through her retrograde.
Tomorrow we also welcome the North Node shifting into Taurus and seek enlightenment on how we balance our material and spiritual values. Over the next 18 months a patient, determined directive towards readdressing our relationship to pleasure ensues.

Working with beautiful Yin energy will set the tone for lasting adjustments that take care of our needs without sacrificing our sacred earth.

Unexpected events and surprise revelations will abound right now. It’s time to break the mould and be the change you seek.
This months soul stories addressed your “blind spot” check out the extended readings (links below) to see how this cosmic shift and full moon energy is revealing deeper work around the theme for you

Below are my Astro musings from when Uranus turned Retrograde in August 2021 to help you reflect on the transit…
Through to January 2022 the rebel, change seeking Uranus takes a back spin through the sign of Taurus making some revolutionary aspects that will blend the desire for personal freedom and security with a hunger for progressive solutions, pattern interruptions and impulsive choices to break free.
Heightened intuition and a rebellious energy that’s ready to make impact and feel more liberated is initiated from the inside out when we shift into retrograde.

As Uranus slows to change course you’ll feel an intense and even uncomfortable shift with many shock revelations and information already emerging. Give yourself time to readjust to the new rhythm in the coming days.
How to work with this transit…

A positive time to take a quantum leap in your thinking so you allow beautiful expansion. Higher awareness and divine understanding will flow into consciousness the more wildly open you are to receiving new downloads.

To process, celebrate and integrate the spiritual awakening that’s occurred for you in 2021 and identify the ways it’s invited you to make profound and permanent change in your life.
To be open to surprising news, redirects and opportunities that require you to embrace a wholly different experience, including how you see yourself and others.

A revolution in your sense of value and self worth, improved relationship to money and security, offering you the energy to break free and liberate yourself from jobs, careers and situations that are too restrictive and vibrationally heavy for you.
Free spirited and powerful connections that you feel confident and uninhibited to enjoy lovingly. Finding it easier to make radical changes to relationships, severing the old and creating space for new energies that serve your highest expression and that pave the way for fated experiences and new adventures.

A slowing down to focus on self mastery in your own spiritual revolution, supporting you to arrive at critical choices over the way in which you will personally “be” the change for our precious earth.

Bright Blessings

Sherrie Campbell: Independence from Toxic Family

If you do anything to demonstrate a willful desire to be independent and separate from toxic family members, you will be threatened financially, threatened with emotional abandonment, and saturated with accusations coming your way about what a horrible person you are.

This type of coercive treatment from your family will leave you feeling shocked and disgusted at how low your family members will go to keep you dependent upon them.

When you stand against their manipulation and all those who remain complicit to your abuse, you will undoubtedly go through of time of great loss and confusion. You will also feel a certain sense of liberation. Over time and with much healing, you will see that there was no real loss when you have regained the full rights to your life. The time of pain and confusion is what leads you to this wisdom.

Mary Magdaline

Mary Magdalene embodies the capacity we all have to merge with the soul and receive divine guidance through a love that never ends. Mary was born in the first century in Magdala, Israel. She was the first to witness the resurrection, and for this reason is revered in Christianity as the Apostle to the Apostles. Author and Episcopal priest Cynthia Bourgeault relates that the Gospels of Thomas, Philip, and Mary Magdalene all reveal Mary not only as Jesus’s beloved companion, koinonos, but also as an equal partner in teaching and transmission. (p.42, The Meaning of Mary Magdalene.) Bourgeault believes that Mary Magdalene’s gospel contains a secret teaching that Christ gave to Mary so that she could pass though the seven stages to reach the soul, or the nous, which is the highest point of the soul. And it is this union with her soul that allows Mary to see the risen Christ.

In classic iconography Mary Magdalene is associated with an egg and the color red because of an Eastern Orthodox legend. It says that she used an egg to teach the court of Tiberius Caesar about resurrection. Caesar doubted her and responded that a person could no more rise from the dead than the egg in her hand turn red. The egg turned red immediately. Legends relate that Mary then traveled to the south of France to escape persecution and to continue her ministry. It is believed she lived the last thirty years of her life in the caves at St. Baume. There she met with Christ with a love that inhabits the human heart but that lives on beyond it.

When your soul selects her card:

Mary Magdalene represents the fierce, unwavering love that we all have access to within our own vulnerable hearts. It’s a love that renders all things sacred from the animals to the angels, from the poorest to the most powerful. It’s a love that sees the inherent worth of all things. And it’s a love that remains, even through the darkest times, even through death; her love is the one that resurrects.

The Gospel of Mary Magdalene relates that Jesus came to unite us, to demonstrate to us a “true human being,” an “Anthropos,” meaning a person who is both fully human, and fully divine. This is what Mary became and it’s why she was so beloved to Jesus. She didn’t seek to follow him; she sought instead to become her true self.
Mary Magdalene reminds us that we have the power to receive vision from within. We are worthy of such proximity to the divine because that’s the other half of what it means to be truly human. She reminds us that there’s a bridge between heaven and earth, and that we are that bridge. And she wants us to remember that the truest church we can ever enter is in the heart. This is where our true power rests and where love never ends. “
