Note to self

“Give yourself more credit.

You’re trying to grow while trying to heal. You’re trying to forgive while trying to grieve. You’re trying to search while trying to let go. And you’re trying to love others while remembering how to love yourself.

You are doing the best you can.”

August 13, clearing 4 years of karma

I’m late posting this but I do feel this is happening

As Venus moves through its journey in the sky, it forms a pattern called the Venus Star Point. This pattern happens when Venus meets the Sun at five special moments over 8 years, making a star-like shape in the sky. It’s like watching different parts of a story unfold, adding more layers to our own stories.

On August 13, this pattern comes back to the Leo point, just like it did 4 years ago on August 14, 2019. Leo is all about being confident, creative, and shining bright, like a star.

This alignment will impact all signs, but Leo, Taurus & Libra Sun, Moon & Rising will feel the impact stronger than others.

Please click the link below to see how it will affect each sign and for more information about this conjunction:

Sun In Leo Conjunct Venus Retrograde In Leo: August 13

Here’s a snapshot of how this alignment might impact each zodiac sign:

Aries: A surge in creative energy and an increased desire for romance and connection. Aries might also find themselves more inclined to take the lead in love and artistic projects.

Taurus: Taurus may be prompted to beautify their home or seek comfort in familiar bonds. This could be a time of nostalgia, recalling joyful memories, and connecting with the past.

Gemini: Social and communication skills are amplified. A great time for Geminis to express their feelings, write, or indulge in creative dialogue.

Cancer: Financial aspects shine for Cancer and they are having a sudden turn of events, with good luck and fortune on the horizon. There could be a longing to seek security in materialistic comforts and spend quality time with close friends and loved ones.

Leo: Leos bask in this energy. Enhanced charm, allure, and self-confidence make this an excellent time for personal projects, attracting love, and making bold choices. Leos take centre stage during this alignment.

Virgo: This alignment might spark an internal journey of self-love and introspection. It’s a period where Virgos might reassess their values and how they relate to their inner selves.

Libra: Social connections thrive. Libras might find themselves more involved in group activities, experiencing heightened popularity or connecting deeper with friends.

Scorpio: Professional life gets a boost. Scorpios might find acknowledgment at work, an increase in creative projects, or a deepened passion for what they do. Emotions are intense and intuition and sensitivity is heightened.

Sagittarius: Spiritual and intellectual growth is highlighted. Sagittarians might be drawn to travel, philosophy, or learning new things that align with their values.

Capricorn: Deep emotional bonds and shared resources come into play. This is a time for Capricorns to delve deep into intimate relationships and communicate openly and affectionately.

Aquarius: Relationships take center stage. Aquarians might find themselves deepening current partnership, attracting new, passionate connections, and having profound and meaningful conversations.

Pisces: Pisces might feel inclined to beautify their everyday life, be it through self-care routines, a new hobby, or refining work tasks. Dreams are vivid and are holding hidden messages. This is the time for Pisces to set intentions as they are able to manifest effortlessly during this month.

Stopped Fighting

“I once asked a very successful woman to share her secret with me. She smiled and said to me…

“I started succeeding when I started leaving small fights for small fighters.

I stopped fighting those who gossiped about me…

I stopped fighting with my in laws…

I stopped fighting for attention…

I stopped fighting to meet peoples expectation of me…

I stopped fighting for my rights with inconsiderate people..

I stopped fighting to please everyone…

I stopped fighting to prove they were wrong about me….

I left such fights for those who have nothing else to fight…

And I started fighting for my vision, my dreams, my ideas and my destiny.

The day I gave up on small fights is the day I started becoming successful & so much more content.”

Some fights are not worth your time….. Choose what you fight for wisely.”-Author unknown

4 Laws of a Shaman

THE FOUR LAWS OF A SHAMAN

The first says:

“The person who comes into our life is the right person”

In other words, no one comes into our lives by chance, all the people around us, who interact with us, are there for a reason, to make us learn and advance in each situation.

The second law says:

“What happens is the only thing that could have happened.”

Nothing, but nothing, absolutely nothing that happens to us in our lives could have been otherwise.

Not even the most insignificant detail.

There is no: “if I had done such a thing, such another would have happened…”.

Nope.

What happened was the only thing that could have happened and it had to have been so for us to learn that lesson and move on.

Each and every one of the situations that happen to us in our lives are perfect, even if our mind and our ego resist and do not want to accept it.

The third says:

“Anytime it starts is the right time.”

Everything starts at the right time, neither before nor after.

When we are ready for something new to start in our lives, that is when it will begin.

And the fourth and last:

“When something ends, it ends.”

Just like that.

If something ended in our lives, it is for our evolution, therefore it is better to leave it, move on and advance already enriched by that experience.

I think it is not by chance that you are reading this, if these words came into our lives today; It’s because we’re prepared to understand that no snowflake ever falls in the wrong place.”

Nature as Partner, Not Resource: A Call for Ethical Treatment of Therapeutic Environments

This is so true , the ocean attracts for its sedative , antidepressant effects , and the forest attracts for the peace and challenges here on my mountain. Life expectancy for rural women is longer.

The disruption of these therapeutic environments has not deterred me from making my home here and even after being warned I’d be run off , I stayed .

The blow back to each and every individual who presented my challenges , is happening or has happening .

I surrendered all these grievances to Divine long ago, who allows me survival.. onward to thrive .

Patric Plesa’s ‘ethical ecology’ urges us to rethink therapeutic environments, bridging mental health with environmental ethics.

Fred Rogers n Disability ( totally agree)

Part of the problem with the word ‘disabilities’ is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted. But what of people who can’t feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren’t able to form close and strong relationships? And people who cannot find fulfillment in their lives, or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities. ~Fred Rogers
