Kim Saeed – narcissism is a brain condition..

Narcissism is largely a condition of the brain. A lot of people get mad as hell when introduced to this fact. They think it’s making excuses for narcissists and implying they have no choice or control over how they act. But, this isn’t the case at all. Here is a crash course on this topic, by my colleague who knows the REAL DEAL when it comes to narcissistic individuals and how they behave.

“While NPD affects certain brain functions, others are completely intact, allowing control and choice in behavior. This highlights that despite NPD’s complexities, individuals with the disorder can still discern and choose their actions, especially in contexts that serve their interests. They have a perfectly functioning system when it comes to understanding right/ wrong. They fully know what makes them look bad. They are able completely to target their problematic behaviors to specific individuals. That is how most (if not all) of them function. They are not fully at the mercy of a brain that makes them do something.” @Neuroinstincts – Dr. Rhonda Freeman

Strong Women

I never had one of those lives where I could take it easy and just relax.

While everyone else could sit back and enjoy the ride, I had days full of challenges and nights full of struggle.

There wasn’t time to rest or the chance to do what I wanted..

For as long as I can remember, my life has been a journey of fires and storms.

Fires that tried to consume me and storms that were intent on drowning me..

None of that ever stopped me, it only made me stronger.

There were many times that I was forced to my knees fighting for survival in a world that seemed determined to bring me down..

But each time, I got up, dusted myself off and found a way to keep going.

No one ever gave me much of a chance to make it, but then, I don’t need anyone’s approval or permission to be the independent, strong and empowered person that I am.

I’m not the one who will ask for help because I’ve never had anyone helping me during the hardest times of my life.

I’ve had to fight, battle and scrap every step of the way for everything I have.

So, I definitely don’t need to be fixed, saved or completed and I’m not holding out for a hero.

I learned a long time ago that no one was showing up to bail me out of the hard stuff..so I did what I had to do and became the hero of my own story.

Maybe I don’t have a fancy costume or have a made up name, but i do have a superpower:

I’m fiercely unstoppable, each and every day.

That doesn’t mean I don’t get knocked down, that doesn’t mean I don’t have bad days..

But I don’t stay down and l’ll never give up.

So, all the times that the world and life tried to break me?

All that did was make me stronger, wiser and better.

Now, thanks to all the people that hurt me, all the days that shattered me and all the times that I failed,

I know that I can do anything and overcome the obstacles that crash into my life.

I’m more than just a person, a brave heart and iron spirit.

I am a strong woman..and there’s nothing I can’t do.

Judge accused of trading help on murder case for sex

This has several “truths” , it could be a fabrication, planted to get this judge off the court ( pretty much a done deal with the accusation)

As a young woman in Roanoke , and later in marriage , rumors certainly were rampant as to the true character of professionals , including the legal community . Lawyers were high on ego and testosterone and it wasn’t unusual to be subjected to sexual energy they oozed .. The higher up on the scale of success, the more power the more indiscriminate some could be.

A conversation with a woman who was signing on with a #1 successful lawyer who had ex ” partners” all over , spoke of his sexual overtones , expectations with his representation… and I urged her to seek council elsewhere .

Deceased , this man represented ex , and his former partner , represented me, without my knowing this horrific breech , ” conflict of interest,” indeed but it’s doubtful that any court in Virginia , would label or rule on this as illegal .

Gummbie , laws , stretch wayyyyy out in favor of the law.

The brotherhood learned in schools and fraternities.

Much to the detriment of the law and the word of truth .

A new court filing alleges Roanoke Circuit Judge Onzlee Ware promised the mother of a defendant being prosecuted for murder behind-the-scenes help with her son’s case in return for sex.

Disordered Parenting – Child Psychological Abuse

It might seem like a trivial technicality, but it’s important as far as our thoughts and beliefs get ‘ingrained’ and become a part of us when they’re really separate. The experience of parental alienation, as traumatic, unfair, maddening, and agonising as it is, is not you. Nor is it your fault. It happened as a result of a separation/high-conflict divorce from someone who is typically narcissistic/borderline and unable to deal with it. Or the alienation might have started sometime before, but it still stems from disordered parenting. ***

Not you. Try to detach from the experience as being ‘yours’ by changing the ‘my’ to ‘the alienation’ It’s a subtle but important shift.
