With a temper that exploded without warning , I witnessed him take a broom, and threaten to kill our son for something .. He backed him against the kitchen counter , broom in hand , screaming his threat .

I was heavily medicated at the time .

It wasn’t long after that son retaliated , pushing his Dad off the front porch ( only a step down) .

Later I learned he had torn up the check for son to return 2nd year of college . Son was off his 1st year , and flunked out .. His Dad did the same thing !,,
