Super Blue Moon

Dear friends, the only super blue moon of this year is here.
This lunar phenomenon is set to take place on the night of Wednesday August 30 and early morning of Thursday August 31, 2023, depending on where you are in the world. It will be one of the brightest and largest moons of 2023.

The Super Blue Moon is the convergence of three lunar occurrences—a full Moon, a Supermoon, and a blue Moon. A blue Moon is the term used for when we see the full Moon twice in a month. The term has nothing to do with color, but since the 1940s has commonly referred to the second of two full moons that fall in a calendar month. The next Super blue moon will take place in January 2037!

Energetically speaking, this blue Supermoon takes place in the water sign of Pisces, which is the sign of dreams, fantasy, the subconscious, and its energy typically encourages us to break free from our self-imposed limitations. So this Supermoon will push us to release deeply held beliefs about ourselves. We are going to be faced with old fears that are preventing us from moving forward and manifesting the higher timeline we each deserve. It is definitely an empowering and hopeful moon.

This Pisces super blue moon will be the last big energetic push we will be experiencing as we move into the Equinox energies by September 21. Today/tomorrow’s rare lunar event is realigning our timelines into a reality that is/feels truer to our inner Self. Do not be surprised if you feel like changing course in some aspects of your life by next week. We will be navigating into new waters as we enter September. The journey is, of course, very personal and unique to each of us, but rest assured, new horizons will be arriving soon.

August 13, clearing 4 years of karma

I’m late posting this but I do feel this is happening

As Venus moves through its journey in the sky, it forms a pattern called the Venus Star Point. This pattern happens when Venus meets the Sun at five special moments over 8 years, making a star-like shape in the sky. It’s like watching different parts of a story unfold, adding more layers to our own stories.

On August 13, this pattern comes back to the Leo point, just like it did 4 years ago on August 14, 2019. Leo is all about being confident, creative, and shining bright, like a star.

Johnathan Waller VENUS- Saturn

So many astrologers talking about Venus retrograde in and of itself. Yet I see nobody posting about the fact that the retrograde period has extended the opposition between Venus and Saturn—probably one of the most challenging and keenly felt transits that there is.

If you are struggling to see the beauty in things, if life seems to have lost some of its lustre, if the world seems a little more cruel and arbitrary than usual, be not alarmed. This too shall pass.

If it feels as though a vice is being tightened around your heart, or if you feel like you’re squeezing the last drop of juice from life’s lemons, losing hope for sweet lemonade in the face of life’s apparent dwindling, remember: this too is part of the plan, part of the cycle.

Saturn puts pressure on what we value in the most vulnerable and tender of ways, not, ultimately, to destroy it, but to strengthen it, by forcing us to become aware of what is truly valuable about it, at its core, once all the glitz and glamour has been stripped away.

If you’re feeling challenged by this time in the ways I’ve described, make some time to be alone and feel the full force of your emotions, whatever they are. Do whatever you need to do to bring them to the surface. Journal, breathe, run, stretch, sit still, cry, yell—whatever it is, even (or especially) if you are resisting it internally.

Then, having honoured whatever it is that is coming to the surface, look for that fundamental core of value, that diamond in the rough. Whatever has been challenged in recent weeks by negativity or pessimism, look closer at it.

To borrow Ram Dass’ metaphor, find the glowing ember in the ashes: “the only thing that’s important is that ember.” Slowly, patiently, diligently, protectively, even laboriously (honouring Saturn), build the fire anew.

Venus-Saturn is a challenging opportunity to rummage in the rubble of all our failed experiments in frippery and frivolity, and find amongst the discarded detritus and disillusionment, the smallest, toughest, most durable and meaningful fragment of what we actually value in the most fundamental sense.

It’s not easy work, but its what can help us to move incrementally closer to a life which is ultimately more aligned and involved with the deepest yearnings of the heart.

It’s a challenge to be hard and soft, and let the two live together, in love.
