Grandmother Moon is officially full since 7:40am EST today.
Today is the Snowcrust Moon, also known as the Goose Moon, Sugar Moon, Eagle Moon and other names depending on the community and location.
It’s releasing time. We are not quite at Spring Equinox yet but soon we will be releasing Winter in favour of Spring.
Geese are all about community. They stick together and look out for each other. Most of us humans have lost that sense of community care. Overall, our Western society is about capitalism and individualism rather than compassion and care.
Like the geese, we need to learn to come home and to be together as a human family.
The Eagle teaches us about leadership, long vision and getting the big picture instead of getting caught up in the details. Eagle can see far and wide while easily soaring high up in the air. Eagle shows us that when we see get some distance and see the big picture, we can get super clear insights on what to do next and how to share our gifts.
The sugar maple tree doesn’t only give us maple syrup, but also sweet water, which is amazing for our bodies in the Spring. It shares its sap with us for our healing and wellness, while giving us shade on sunny days.
This Full Moon brings us into the rebirth and re-awakening, and then we will move into the big re-awakening that Spring will bring.
