I wanted to lay down with Dad but it would have freaked out family members who were very anxious to get it done quick .
Sleep and eating were very important . I drove home and crawled into bed .
Then the phone call ? How much did I owe Dad for a car loan .

He had signed over the title to me months before .
He took care of many house details ! Knowing without knowing … I had awareness 14 months before he left and I determined to see him off with dignity .
