“In the Eyes of the Mystic, the term “Illumination” signifies a profound sense of Inner Enlightenment. It is a gradual process of uncovering the Truth and expanding One’s metaphysical senses, perceptions, and awareness, which naturally brings forth a deeper understanding of the mysteries of existence.
Just as the sun illuminates and sustains the physical world with its energy, so too does the True Self act as a spiritual sun, illuminating the inner realms of the spirit. Essentially.. working to fuel and nurture the higher aspirations and ideals of humanity with both it’s beauty and it’s power.
We must take note though, that this process should never be rushed, or sought after through demands or pleas. It can only be attained through proper preparation, work, and effort.
“When the student is ready the teacher will appear.”
This is NOT talking about an external guru or master outside of yourself, it it referring to the primoridal God source “essence” WITHIN us. When we align ourself with the natural order of things, and begin to generate a symbiotic relationship with it (working harmoniously with its laws) we also begin to naturally prepare ourselves to receive and embrace such illuminating light that fundamental transforms our entire being and sets forth our inherit “higher” destiny into motion.
There will always be moments or instances that shine with a brilliance surpassing all others, yet the entirety of this journey shall span across a multitude of lifetimes.
The mystic honors and trusts in the process, knowing it is a gradual one, a methodical one, one that is set apart from the every day mundane.
In summary, true “enlightenment” can only be cultivated and developed by the steady augmentation of ones own inner luminosity.”
