Because this is such a powerful and emotional eclipse, thought I’d share the following astrology report from Krisy Martucci for Mindful Living:
“I just wanted to come on here and post a little something about this tricky eclipse portal we are all moving through.
Because Pluto is now in Aquarius – squaring the eclipse, we are needing to move into new paradigms and patterns in our lives.
Meanwhile, we are clearing old ones!
This isn’t fun for many because we are being hit with old triggers and past patterns.
Mars, the ruler of the 2 eclipses is in Cancer. This is very touchy emotional territory.
So, while we are potentially in the thick of some emotionally triggering material, we need to remember that we are being asked by Aquarius to establish new patterns – that is the end game.
Pluto in Aquarius is about seeding a higher consciousness and having an awakening BUT this isn’t happening for everyone. Some people will insist on maintaining the same old, same old. This is tough for people who realize its time to change for the better – who are trying to let go of old patterns that lead to pain and suffering. This is why forgiveness and compassion are so vital right now.
We cannot allow the ignorance of others or the refusal of others to chose better to ruin our healing and awakening.
So, the forgiveness and compassion for the SELF is the first order of business and for others, second. Ignorance of others caught in the patterns of generational karma is the problem, and when viewed in that light we don’t have to take it personally, and in fact we can feel more empathy for anyone that has done us harm.
NOTE: Intentionally abusive behavior is a different story and anyone undergoing this needs to seek safety. Forgiveness is not the priority – that can come later for YOUR benefit so that you don’t continue to poison yourself with harmful emotions.
This first Eclipse is in Aries and Aries always seeks independence, freedom, and self agency and will not tolerate abuse or being treated with disrespect. On the other side, Aries can be abusive. So if you are either on the giving or receiving end of this behavior, its time to deal with it head on and make a change for the better.
We need some grounding here too, because the chance for emotional explosions is high due to the ignorance factor and also solar and lunar eclipses are not exactly easy breezy – they can create chaos and eruptions out the blue, with people seemingly loosing their heads.
