Christianity – Opinion of yoga

I have read or heard of this opinion of satanic

yoga..I recall the effort by some to make wearing

yoga pants against the law.

I’m not sensing yoga is satanic personally , but

it is a life style , and requires a lot of dedication .

“I was shocked when teachers from the school bible class group warned me that the yoga that I practiced was satanic. Inspired by how the recently learned meditation had changed my life, I had started a weekly after school yoga class with half a dozen or so regular attendees. The Christians had advised the school principal that such a satanic practice shouldn’t be permitted and the Principal had concurred. Further, they advised me that I should be cleansed of this satanic force if I was to gain the favours of the one true god.
Having been raised a Christian [church and Sunday school attendance weekly until I’d left home for University] I was keen to ensure that I wasn’t in thrall to any satanic force and that the god that I sought to engage with was indeed, the real deal. So I agreed to be have the evil spirits removed.
Trying to allow myself to be open to the exorcism was a challenge, but being determined not to be beguiled or misled [ [if such as the case] I tried my best to remain calm and open minded and to allow the exorcism to proceed with my willing participation.
A calm descended upon me as I watched the Christians dance about me, chanting as per the dictates of the ritual they sought to perform. During the procedure, I noticed how their faces became dis-figured, their eyes rolled and they seemed to drool at the mouth. They looked to me as if they had become possessed by something that was other than benign. Meanwhile, I felt an astonishing inner sweetness wrap me in an aura of calm.
Later, the Christians expressed their dismay that the procedure had failed while I was relieved to discover that there were no demonic forces attempting to capture my mind.
Wondering what it was I had just observed, I recalled an absolutely key teaching of Yoga “That our mind assumes the qualities of that on which we obsess” ie. obsess on Jesus and and you become god-like, obsess on the devil and you become satanic.”
