YOU ARE WORTHY.
At the root of most humans beings suffering is this idea that they are not worthy or that they are not enough. We look for evidence consciously and unconsciously to validate this belief we hold about ourselves. When someone hurts us it’s less the act of what they did that is painful but the thoughts that it brings up in our minds about ourselves. Our sense of “who we are” completely personalizes the impersonal experience of being human.
Many of us learn to take responsibility and identify with suffering that is part of this human condition, taking personally the actions of others who are half to fully sleepwalking amongst us through this dream state of reality.
