Mask Facts from nurse JLM

Let me tell you a story:
As an ER nurse, I am required to wear a mask to keep my job. The other day at work, 2 hours into my shift, I developed a headache. Most of the time when I get a headache it is sinus pressure related, but it usually coincides with changes in barometric pressure or sinus congestion. On this day, it was not sinus related, it just felt different. Remembering something I read that was marked as false by Facebook fact checkers 🖕 regarding CO2 retention with mask wearing, I decided to conduct my own experiment. I hooked up a simple facemask to oxygen and put it on. Within 60 seconds my headache was gone. I was shocked. All of my coworkers were shocked. Is this anecdotal? Absolutely. My “sciency” friends will dismiss these findings, but to me, it was very telling.
